O… is for obsession

But a very healthy one.

Obsession can be quite a negative word, and we understand why; most obsessions consume you in ways you can’t control, or fathom. But some obsessions are… well… amazing. Paintball is one of them.

Yes, it will consume you and you’ll find yourself planning your next game, running through moves and tactics in your mind and obsessing over the latest gear you absolutely NEED in your life. Unlike many other obsessions, paintball doesn’t take. It gives. And the more effort you put in, the more paintball gives back. From health benefits, social mobility, problem solving and confidence building to improvements in specific paintball skills which could lead to competitive success. And trophies. All good stuff.

And there’s travel. Find yourself diving into the competitive paintball world, or some of the huge international Big Games and you could be travelling all over the world. To play this great game and meet some incredibly diverse new friends.

So, obsession. It can be quite a negative word. But for paintballers… it’s just how we like it.
